Intent on seeing what I see as if these
X-ray eyes of mine weren't blind.
She plants herself there face-to-face.
Either way she's got me looking now, oh yeah.
Love comes to those of us
Who are fierce enough to fight.
Unreformed and unafraid,
To have you every night.
And I fell in...
There's nothing easy 'bout it no.
It's not just pleasing someone else you know.
Oh, it might be something that you'd steal,
If you felt like it was real - so real.
Love makes it self known,
When we're seldom home.
A poem's whose words remain unheard,
Till we're on our own.
Love strong enough to
Break the bonds 'tween the best of friends.
A pure and selfish thing
That I fell in.
Each night she slays me with glance,
A chance to resurrect myself and die again.
And while she sparkles full of life I flirt with time,
A melody I never heard before creeps into my head.
And I fell in.
